This story was ok. I hate doing these reviews, but kind of have to. I liked the characters, they were well described. Places were well described as well. But for some reason I could not get into this.
Delightfully dramatic. This book had heart. Great new characters and recurring characters from the other books in the series. Passionate and action filled.
This is the third book in the series and I find I like it.....the mix up in finding each of the son's mates is interesting....wish it could be more of a challenge, but it works in this instance. I like Coop and Amy , I liked watching the changes in both of them. But like I said in book one I really hope Nhys doesn't become complacent in this story line...it will become repetitive fast. I really like this series and would hate to stop reading because of no growth.
I LOVED reading about Cooper! He was so damn sweet and just a nice guy! I really felt for Amy...how she was brought up and treated. I LOVED how she came out of her shell and started to stand up for herself. She will need it! Cooper can walk...she cured him! Yea! Things in this series are starting to get real...more difficult. Amy's road is gonna be difficult...but she'll be ok with Coop by her side. Loved reading about them. Kinda my fav. ) Coop has some difficulties too since his cat was just activated. All the other Sons are used to it and can pull it back and its not so easy for Coop. Look forward to Chase's story.
I really (and I stress the really) liked this story. It flows easily and keeps us interested.

Cooper and Amy are the epitome of star-crossed lovers. And, the Hero, physically challenged, is the opposite of the image that comes to mind by words such as 'engineered warrior'.
Then, their characters have layers even they didn't know about. And we get to join them in their journey of discovery and growth.

The world I knew I'd like -- I'd read the first 2 books, after all -- so no surprise there.

But surprised I was however. There's something in the plot that I didn't expect at all, even after 2 books. It strongly shows the commitment these people feel for their cause; which adds a new layer to the book and the series. (And there are a few other things there that raise the bar and make us wonder what the limit might be in the future.)

Definitely recommend it.
They just keep getting better.
This truly is an awesome third book in the Scorpio Sons series. I have loved sweet Cooper from the start and Amy is perfect for him. I loved their chemistry and how this story just continues to evolve. I am really looking forward to hook 4 and what is going to happen next.
