First off, why has Amazon or the author stop including the date the book came out?? I didn't know which book came out first, Rebellious or Ruthless, and I read Rebellious first, now I think Ruthless was first. "Please put the release dates back where choosing a book in the library to purchase". That being said, this is the first book I read from this author and she didn't disappoint. I like my MC books and I have read a lot of them and this story held my attention. It wasn't one of those MC stories where the H decides he's not good enough for the h, even when he is thinking that, and keeps pushing her away. The h in this story is a strong woman and fought back to stay alive until help got to her, "big check", the H was all alpha man; protective, yet caring of her feelings but still protective, "big check", the h trying to protect the H son so he wouldn't be put into the system and the way the ending went, melt melt melt. I'm giving this book 5 stars and I recommend you to give a read.

On Emily's way homr she notices her neighbors son Tucker sitting on the stoop with some junk food and hes locked out. His Mom is no where to be found. After hanging out a bit she takes him to his Dads mechanic shop but his Dad isnt there so Tucker takes her to the MC. She never experienced anything like that. After she meets the President Reb and Tuckers father everything changes. Will the librarian be able tk be with the big bad biker?
What can I say, I was looking forward to reading this book, since I enjoyed the first one. I loved Reb he was everything a Alpha male biker should be (in a fantasy world, we are not looking for real here)He had a son was divorcing his wife who was b....h, he was a good pres tough as nails but strong and loving. Em, I liked at first, and I realize she had a rough beginning in life, I get that, but she had picked herself up, gotten an education worked 2 jobs showed a healthy backbone for survival. It was all surface though, yeah she'd done all that, but she was like a freaking teenager, whiny ungrateful little girl, the emotional drama surrounding had so much teenage angst that I never believed she was a 20 something, mid-20 if the story was to believed, despise juvenile behavior in the books I read, this is why I do not read new adult books and the wipe Em gave was just that. Even at the end of the story when she showed us surprising gumption and all the drama played out, she went back to being stupid little drama queen instead of a mature educated adult. Here is hoping Nicole will not get a story, for she is an uberbiatch full of hate, anger and attitude and I'm am sick of heroines like that. What I like are strong women, who have common sense strong character without being biatches and spoiled brats, those books are so rare. So 2.5 stars and thats because of Reb his son and the club.
Well,I had to stop at around 10%. Tons of F-bombs, and raunchy talk. This book was going south real fast. I'm not interested in a dirty, raunchy, read. The Emily went way out of character the first minute she saw Reb. She started wholesome and clean, and jumped right into raunchy whore.
I don't give up on books, but this one is over, in my opinion.
Wow! I just loved this book..everything single thing about it..now I'm on to the other books in this biker series ..the storyline, hot characters, humor, the way the H loves the h, the flow..everything moved along nicely..that's way I need to go back and read the first book in the series..but reading a few chapters in the next book, makes me want to read Tank and Nicole's story! Excellent book..great romance reading!
My major issue with the book is the alternating of views. When it's Emily it's written in the first person which is the only type of book I can and will read, but then anytime it goes to Reb it's written in the third person. That really took allot away from the enjoyment of the actual story for me. I liked the story and loved Reb but there was allot of inconstancies with Emily. When they're first introduced to each other it's made to seem that is the first time they have ever seen each other, but later on, it stated they knew of each other and maybe exchanged a few words while they were both sitting with a mutual friend in the hospital.
I also get that she is younger than him and has had a rough start but at times she is just really dramatic and fragile and immature and then others she acts like a totally different person saying she doesn't scare easy when not a day before she spent most of her time crying or wanting to run away.
Please do not give Nicole a book. As much as I can enjoy an "innocent" woman jumping into the club life and loving the biker, Nicole was just horrible. She wasn't just looking out for her friend she was just a stuck up bitch no matter what.
All in all, I will most likely read another one from this author to give it another try since I did actually like the story besides the issues.
