What an absorbing novel! I read this book in less than two days--I couldn't put it down. I immediately fell in the love with the main character, Lil, and kept praying for her to find the happiness she so obviously deserved. I love how upbeat and faithful Lil was throughout her challenges and the relationships she had (her friendship with Katie was awesome) and those she built throughout the novel. The author's writing is beautiful. The story flows and is an easy read. I highly recommend it this for those who love contemporary and inspirational fiction--and a great love story to boot!

Melissa Bennett is a new rising star in the book industry. The story she created grabs you and takes you for a suspense and hope filled ride. I literally could not put it down. The plot is gripping, the characters are intriguing, and the attention to detail is amazing. You fall in love with Lillian and Katie right away. Gracie is what everyone wants in a pet and it is easy to imagine the love and loyalty she has to her owner. I really appreciated the way in which Ms. Bennett wove the hope we have in Christ to get us through any and everything we face in life. Do yourself a favor and get this book, a nice comfy chair, and a good cup of coffee. Enjoy!
